A supply chain attack is a cyber-attack that aims to damage an organization by targeting less-secure elements in its supply chain. Globally, supply chain attacks have targeted various industries such as the public sector, the banking sector, and others. Cybercriminals typically target computers, ATMs, and other electronics along the supply chain in order to target a member of that supply chain who has the weakest cyber security.
