Economic & Cooperative Development Unit Business Development Officer
I’ve had the privilege of wearing many hats throughout my professional journey. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Oakwood University and continued my academic pursuit, obtaining an MBA from Alabama AAMU University. These foundational degrees instilled in me a strong sense of discipline, problem-solving, and an analytical mindset. For several years, I dedicated my talents as a Senior Accountant in the bustling heart of Atlanta, Georgia. This role sharpened my financial acumen and attention to detail while teaching me the intricacies of behind-the-scenes operations. In addition to my corporate journey, I’m also the proud founder of Uptimum Bodied, my own fashion design business. This venture allows me to blend my passion for creativity and my love for business. It’s been an exhilarating and rewarding journey, and I relish every moment of being front and center, creating styles that inspire and empower. I take pride in my ability to navigate both the corporate and creative worlds, and I believe this duality makes me a well-rounded and adaptable businesswoman. My journey has taught me that versatility and a willingness to step outside one’s comfort zone can lead to the most extraordinary personal and professional growth. I am excited for my new journey here at BEDC, and I am looking forward to making an impact in the ECD Unit.
