From Idle to Income – Is Your Commercial Kitchen Health Department Ready? will provide practical guidance on meeting Department of Health (DOH) requirements and preparing your kitchen for inspection, while also highlighting how compliant kitchen spaces can be leveraged as a source of revenue.

This session will walk participants through key health and safety standards, common inspection considerations, and the steps required to assess and upgrade existing kitchen facilities. In addition, attendees will learn more about the BEDC Commercial Kitchens Program (CKP) and how it supports the use of certified kitchen spaces to create new income opportunities.

Participants will also have the opportunity to engage directly with representatives from the Department of Health during a dedicated Q&A session.
