Ministry of Public Works (MPW) / Bermuda Economic Development Corporation(BEDC) PARTNERSHIP
The MPW has partnered with the BEDC to support – independently from MPW – prospective construction industry contractors, tradespersons, maintenance, and any other industry service provision companies with fully understanding what MPW tender prequalification documents are required to submit to be fully compliant with MPW’s Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ).

BEDC / RFSQ Prequalification Information Sessions to support MPW STIMULUS PROGRAM Business Listing
BEDC will offer a series of virtual information sessions, starting on January 19 thru January 22, to educate
attendees on all aspects of RFSQ documents submission to best prequalify for upcoming Infrastructure
Stimulus Program selection.

MPW STIMULUS PROGRAM Aim
There is an urgent need to provide stimulus to the local economy to retain and boost employment numbers in the wake of the economic downturn sparked by the COVID 19 pandemic. The MPW seeks to generate a list of prequalified companies that are interested in participating in a short-term Stimulus Program that aims to boost employment. This program will use as many companies as possible, which will be selected through the RFSQ process, to provide construction, maintenance, repair and/or improvements to existing infrastructure.
